I was trying to install Windows Vista , but kept constantly running into the same problem. After loading the files, it came up with an error message saying I needed to repair the version of Windows XP. So after trying to repair it, I decided to reformat my hard drive. Even after doing that, I still got the same error message. Here is what the message said exactly:
"Windows did not start correctly. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.
If you have aWindows installation disc, insert the disc and restart your computer. Click system recovery options, and then choose a recovery tool. (Startup Repair, available in some versions of Windows, can automaitcally diagnose and fix startup problems.) If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.
Status: 0xc0000225
Info: An unexpected error has occured"
Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

Error loading Vista
i've been getting that message too.. do you have to install the 32 bit upgrade if your running XP home edition? If thats so.. they should change that... If its some other problem someone should tell us what to do to fix it.. yeah my computer is defiantley capable of running 64 bit but i dont want to have to go buy the xp 64 bit just to have to buy the vista 64 bit upgrade when the retail comes out... hmmmmmm
